Latest DPS Group apprentices graduate – and secure jobs

Harry Clark and Craig Ogilvie the latest apprentices off the production line, securing full time roles within DPS Group.


FIFE-BASED DPS Group has today revealed two graduates from its successful apprenticeship programme had graduated from their courses, and will now secure full-time roles within the business.

Employing 70 people, DPS Group provides integrated industrial, electrical, & process control solutions across a range of sectors.

It’s established a strong track record in supporting and giving opportunities to apprentices to learn the skills and experience needed to build a successful career in the industry.

Craig Ogilvie will now take up a role as Control System Technician. Harry Clark will be an Electrical Technician.

Colin Millar, Colin Burnett, Harry Clark, Craig Ogilvie, Martin Brownlee and Samantha Grier from Fife Council's Developing Young Workforce.

Over the last ten years DPS Group has engaged 20 apprentices.

DPS Group director Colin Burnett comments, “We congratulate both Craig and Harry for the successful completition of their apprenticeships. They’ve worked hard and have grown with DPS Group. Fellow DPS Group director Martin Brownlee adds, “Investing in people is vital to the success of DPS Group. If we don’t give staff the opportunity to learn and grow then our business isn’t best placed to move forward. We’ve seen the success of our apprenticeship programmes over the last few years, and like those before them, I’m sure that Harry and Craig will go on to have a positive career with DPS Group.”

Apprentice graduate Craig Ogilvie says, “I’ve enjoyed my apprenticeship with DPS Group. We’ve worked hard, learned a lot and been plenty of opportunities to develop. I’m excited to start the next chapter of my career here.”

Fellow graduate Harry Clark comments, “I’ve been able to develop a strong skillset by working hard and benefitting from the opportunities that DPS Group has provided us. Hopefully, if we continue to work hard, I can progress here!”
